Job DescriptionAre you a seasoned engineer with a passion for turning complex prerequisites into high-quality mechanical solutions? We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to lead technical activities, drive innovation, and mentor the next generation of engineering talent.
In this role, you won't just be designing components; you will be integrating deliveries, building strategic networks, and ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and business value.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Design:
Create and develop mechanical solutions based on specific prerequisites, including function, style, volume, geometry, cost, and regulatory requirements. - Project Leadership:
Lead and support mechanical design engineering activities within your specialized area, ensuring all deliveries are secured and quality-checked before release. - Strategic Input:
Contribute technical expertise to product and system roadmaps and provide data-driven input to project prerequisites based on component history. - Collaboration & Networking:
Build and maintain professional relationships with universities, external institutes, and internal cross-functional teams to stay at the forefront of industry trends. - Business Development:
Actively participate in innovation and business development initiatives to drive organizational growth. - Mentorship:
Act as a role model for lifelong learning; coach and train junior team members to foster a culture of knowledge sharing.
- Experience:
Typically 5+ years of relevant experience in mechanical design engineering. - Education:
Advanced knowledge typically obtained through a professional degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. - Technical Profile:
You possess deep expertise in your specific discipline while maintaining a "T-shaped" profile—building a broad understanding of the wider organizational network. - Communication:
Proven ability to clearly articulate value propositions and work confidently across a global corporate network. - Mindset: A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to integrating high-quality deliveries that fulfill business targets.
