Fives Landis Corp is actively seeking a Jr. Project Manager to join its team in Hagerstown, Maryland. For over 200 years Fives Landis has invented, designed, and supplied high‑precision machines for markets such as automotive, aerospace, defense, rail, shipbuilding, energy, and space. The High Precision Machines Division employs approximately 1,800 people worldwide across about 20 locations in Asia, Europe, and North America.
PositionPay Range: $65,000 – $70,000 (rate offered will be commensurate with experience)
Your role will include:
- Assist in coordinating internal teams and resources to support project execution.
- Support the development of key performance indicators and maintenance project plans, schedules, and basic documentation.
- Monitor project activities, identify issues or delays, and escalated concerns to senior project management leaders as needed.
- Track key project metrics and assist with preparing status reports for stakeholders and the leadership team.
- Participate in managing project scope changes, schedule updates, and cost considerations under guidance from senior team members.
- Support and manage the test grind process to ensure accurate results.
- Contribute to risk identification and mitigation efforts.
- Help maintain communication with clients, vendors, and internal departments to ensure smooth information flow.
- Assist technical coordination between Fives Landis Corp. and customers.
- Support the Machine Revision Estimate (MRE) process with Proposal Engineering by gathering required inputs and documentation.

Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, project management, or equivalent practical experience. Related internship, co‑op, or entry‑level experience in project management, engineering, manufacturing, or related discipline preferred but not required. Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and experience with Microsoft Project or SAP is a plus. Must be a self‑starter committed to an innovative work environment.
