Senior Systems Engineer
We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to lead advanced systems engineering activities, including requirements development, traceability, allocation, and validation for complex, multi‑domain ISR architectures.

- Drive systems integration across sensors, mission systems, platforms, and networks, ensuring seamless interoperability and mission performance.
- Lead Verification & Validation (V&V) strategy and execution, including test planning, requirements verification, system‑level validation, and acceptance criteria development.
- Apply and champion Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies to develop digital system architectures, model behaviors, reduce integration timelines, and support rapid reconfiguration for evolving ISR missions.
- Conduct and oversee complex system analyses, including trade studies, CONOPS refinement, performance modeling, and decision analysis that influence engineering direction and customer outcomes.
- Manage technical planning, baseline control, and risk management, ensuring engineering decisions align with program cost, schedule, and performance goals.
- Own major engineering deliverables across the program lifecycle, ensuring technical integrity, quality, and alignment to organizational and customer mission needs.
- Provide deep expertise in architecture and design development, including interface definition, system decomposition, integration planning, and technical monitoring of subsystem performance.
- Serve as a technical leader and integrator, collaborating with cross‑functional engineering teams, suppliers, and program leadership to maintain system cohesion and mission readiness.
- Mentor and guide engineers at all levels, fostering technical growth, strong engineering discipline, and a high‑performance team environment.
- Communicate complex technical information clearly and effectively to leadership, customers, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Champion continuous improvement and innovation, identifying opportunities to enhance system performance, reduce integration cost/schedule, and advance the next generation of SNC ISR capabilities.
Must Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in systems engineering or related field (higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience).
- Expert proficiency with systems modeling and simulation tools.
- Proven technical leadership experience in systems engineering.
- Demonstrated knowledge of multiple engineering principles and practices.
- Experience working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams.
- Thorough understanding of requirements management, functional requirements parsing, derivation, and allocation; systems design; systems integration; technical risk identification and management strategies; and V&V principles.
- Ability to obtain and maintain United States Top Secret Security Clearance.
- Familiarity with real‑time operating systems and embedded systems.
- Advanced experience with requirements management and system modelling tools such as Cameo, MATLAB.
- Knowledge of industry‑standard mechanical design principles.
- Experience or certification in International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE) standards (CSEP).
- Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry.
- Experience leading baseline definition and maturation in a complex development setting, including the use of high‑impact trade studies.
- Thorough understanding of establishing and tracking key Technical Performance Measurements (TPM).
- Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Agile methodologies and Scrum Master certification.
- Ability to work on a computer for extended periods.
- Hand/finger dexterity for system modeling and documentation.
