Systems Engineer
DCCA, a veteran‑owned IT company that has delivered services to government agencies and commercial enterprises since 1982, is looking for a Level 3 Scheduler. The role supports a national‑security program that delivers high‑performance computing, cloud technologies and enterprise architecture solutions.
Security ClearanceActive TS/SCI with polygraph required.
ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop and maintain detailed, resource‑loaded schedules for implementation, development and operations of systems. Work with development and operations teams to produce current schedules and recommend or use automated tools such as MS Project or Primavera. Develop and modify project schedules, integrate multiple schedules into a Master Program Schedule, and maintain the overall program schedule. Link project schedules with the overarching program, investment portfolio, functional area and other Integrated Master Plans (IMPs).
Provide layered schedules and IMPs that illustrate acquisition progress and its contribution to program objectives, while maintaining status on linkages and dependencies with related projects.
- Twelve (12) years’ experience as a Scheduler in programs and contracts of comparable scope, type and complexity.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline from an accredited college or university, or four (4) years of additional scheduling experience in lieu of a degree.
- Two (2) years of proven experience managing a schedule for an engineering program involving hardware and software development and multiple sub‑components using MS Project or Primavera.
- Completion of an advanced‑level MS Project or Primavera course and demonstrated proficiency with those tools.
- Certification in the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering (AACE) or Planning and Scheduling Professional (PSP) is desired.
- Master’s degree may substitute for two (2) years of experience, effectively reducing the experience requirement to ten (10) years.
Proposed salary range for this position in Maryland: $115,000 – $145,000, with final amount based on experience and qualifications.
