Systems Engineer – Satellite Communication (SATCOM)
Location:
US-MD-ANDREWS-AFB-CUST ~ 1558 Alabama Ave ~ ANDREWS AFB (External Site)
Security Clearance:
Active and transferable TS/SCI CI Poly U.S. government issued security clearance required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship required.
- Operations and maintenance (O&M) of complex software and hardware systems.
- Report and document anomalous performance and collaborate with team members to perform corrective actions.
- Cross‑train in other assigned areas and assist in training other personnel on the contract team.
- Support test and/or operational activities as necessary.
- Work in elevated heights.
- Lift 40 lbs. safely.
- Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and minimum of 2 years prior engineering experience or equivalent.
- Experience in SATCOM, IT Systems and/or RF test equipment.
- Experience assigning tasks to meet technical objectives.
- Experience problem‑solving in time‑critical situations.
- Active TS/SCI CI Poly U.S. government issued security clearance required prior to start date; U.S. citizenship required.
- SATCOM O&M experience (military, defense contractor, or commercial).
- Experience with Windows and Linux.
- Experience with facility support systems for SATCOM systems (power, HVAC, intrusion detection systems, etc.).
- CompTIA Security+ certification or higher.
- COMSEC experience.
- Relocation assistance available.
