OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced candidate for an Electronics Technical Support role to support electrical assembly, integration, testing and PCB population activities across a range of engineered systems and hardware platforms. These technicians will work directly with electrical engineers supporting prototype builds, subsystem integration, and troubleshooting of developmental hardware. They will work closely with engineers and technical leads to build, modify, and validate electrical subsystems in a fast‑paced development and fabrication environment.
Responsibilities- Perform electrical assembly and integration of components and subsystems
- Contribute design input during development efforts
- Provide guidance, technical direction, analysis and support for the design, development, integration, testing, documentation, implementation, and sustainment of hardware
- Install and route electrical components including connectors, sensors, power modules, control units, and communication devices
- Assist in the creation and refinement of manufacturing documentation such as wiring diagrams and technical data packages that support prototype replication and integration activities
- Fabricate and modify cable assemblies and wiring harnesses as required
- Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and PCB assembly drawings
- Perform continuity checks, voltage verification, and functional testing
- Support configuration control by maintaining accurate build and test documentation
- Solder a wide range of electronic components including through‑hole, SMT, and fine‑pitch packages such as 0603, 0402, SOT‑323, QFP, etc.
- Operate and maintain pick‑and‑place machines to populate PCBs with components according to design specifications
- Must be a US Citizen and must have the ability to obtain a DOD security clearance
- Responsible for applying technical knowledge and practical concepts, processes, and methods related to technical systems and components
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and assembly drawings
- Experience with soldering, crimping, and connector termination
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative engineering team
- Active DOD security clearance
- Experience supporting prototype development or low‑rate production efforts
- Familiarity with power distribution systems and basic communication hardware
- Experience performing PCB rework and component‑level troubleshooting
- Experience supporting integration or test events
- IPC soldering certification (e.g., IPC-610, J-STD-001)

Pay Range$75,200 - $158,100 USD
