** Responsibilities:
*** Perform installation and maintenance of avionics equipment independently.
* Troubleshoot and repair avionics systems.
* Conduct detailed testing of avionics components.
* Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities.
* Ensure compliance with FCC, FAA, and company regulations.
* Assist in training junior technicians.
* Maintain tools, equipment, and manuals in good condition.
** Qualifications You Must Have:
*** High school diploma or equivalent.
* 1+ years of relevant experience.
* Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
* Proficiency in electronic principles and troubleshooting techniques.
* Ability to understand applicable technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals, and/or publications; ability to route wires per technical drawings.
* Basic skills with avionics installation tooling, wiring, wiring repair, and wiring installation.
* Experience with soldering and crimping techniques.
* Must have own tools in good working order.
** Qualifications We Prefer:
*** Associate's degree in Avionics, Electronics, or a related field.
* Advanced soldering skills and knowledge of electronic test equipment.
* Ability to read and interpret advanced technical manuals and schematics.
* Familiarity with FCC and FCC General Radio Operator License (GROL).
* Basic understanding of spectrometer, oscilloscope. and/or pitot static equipment.
* Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense, or US Military.

* Essential Functions:
*** Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
* Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during the work shift.
* Hand and finger dexterity to work with small mechanical components and tools.
* Ability to work in a noisy environment with potential exposure to hazardous materials.
* Ability to travel frequently to customer locations, sometimes on short notice.
* Ability to work in a combination of office and field environments.
* Ability to read detailed technical manuals, schematics, and computer screens.
* Ability to inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems accurately.
* Ability to hear and understand spoken communication in noisy environments, such as industrial sites or construction areas.
* Ability to detect auditory signals from machinery or equipment, which may indicate issues.
* Ability to navigate various work environments, including climbing ladders, crawling in confined spaces, and working at heights.
* Ability to drive or operate a vehicle for frequent travel to customer locations.
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks, including repairs, installations, and maintenance.
* Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to safety protocols.
* Strong awareness of safety protocols and ability to adhere to safety guidelines in potentially hazardous environments.
* Ability to identify and mitigate potential safety hazards.

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $26.39 - $36.29. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
