Job Title Duties

• You will apply engineering, mathematics, scientific skills around various subject areas to support the development, integration, test, field/deployment and sustainment of integrated EW systems/suites on airborne platforms.
• You will use electromagnetic, optical and acoustic techniques and systems.
• You will apply knowledge of electronics and the electromagnetic spectrum.
• You will execute tailored system engineering processes, managing requirements, identifying technical risks, and applying model based systems engineering.
• You will apply engineering knowledge to work on Radar Systems, Antennas and Electronic Warfare (EW) systems.

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
• Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.
• Must obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
• Must be able to travel on military or commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

• Demonstrated experience applying knowledge of electronics and the electromagnetic spectrum.
• Demonstrated experience executing tailored system engineering processes, managing requirements, identifying technical risks, and applying Model Based Systems Engineering best practices.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the components of Electronic Warfare (EW), including Electronic Attack (EA), Electronic Support (ES), and Electronic Protection (EP).
• Demonstrated knowledge of Radio Frequency (RF) or Digital Signal Processing, radar transmitters/jammers and receivers with analog and digital signal processing and radio frequency components.

Education:

Applicants must possess a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, or equivalent professional engineering experience, as specified by Office of Personnel Management Qualifications Standards.
