Maryland First Grade Stationary Engineer

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading team that provides environmental solutions to the public and private sectors throughout the State of Maryland.

Maryland Environmental Service has an opening for a Maryland First Grade Stationary Engineer at the Western Maryland Hospital Center (WMHC)- Steam Plant Operations located in Hagerstown, MD. The Steam Plant Stationary Engineer assures the water tube boilers and auxiliary equipment are running efficiently for our client. The Engineer shall maintain excellent verbal and written communication with the WMHC Chief Engineer by tracking daily logs and tasks.

The engineer shall perform routine equipment maintenance functions and other work-related duties as assigned. Full-time schedules are available. There may be a potential opportunity to earn yearly increases based on performance.

Estimated Pay Range:

$77,226.24 - $

Minimum Requirements:

Graduation from a standard high school or GED plus three years of operating experience in steam plant operations. Must have a First Grade State of Maryland Stationary Engineer's License and a valid driver's license with less than 5 points.

Any offer of employment will be contingent upon successfully completing required pre-employment screens, to include full background check, drug & alcohol screening, and position appropriate physical.
