Designation: Junior Consultant Anaesthesiology

Reporting to: Group Medical Officer

Experience: 5 years of relevant experience

Knowledge and

Skills:

• Proficient in various anaesthetic techniques and procedures – MAC, Regional, and General anaesthesia techniques
• Experience with all kinds of vascular access (CVP, arterial line, Haemodialysis catheter)
• Skilled in USG-guided nerve blocks
• Ability to handle emergencies in ICU and emergency wards

Key Result Areas:

• Participate in forming and implementing departmental protocols
• Support and coordinate with seniors in the department

Responsibilities:

• Develop the department overall and its subspecialties
• Contribute to academic activities related to the department
• Guide and educate paramedical staff in protocol implementation
• Ensure safe patient care within the hospital
• Maintain accurate, legible, and detailed documentation of patient data, discussions, and advice
• Implement departmental goals and objectives effectively
• Conduct classes for clinical and non-clinical staff on Basic Emergency procedures
• Coordinate with colleagues from other clinical departments for smooth patient management
• Conduct daily ICU rounds
• Assist in clinical audits and strive to improve clinical functions
