Designation: Junior Consultant Anaesthesiology
Reporting to: Group Medical Officer
Experience: 5 years of relevant experience
Knowledge and
Skills:
- Proficient in various anaesthetic techniques and procedures – MAC, Regional, and General anaesthesia techniques
- Experience with all kinds of vascular access (CVP, arterial line, Haemodialysis catheter)
- Skilled in USG-guided nerve blocks
- Ability to handle emergencies in ICU and emergency wards
Key Result Areas:
- Participate in forming and implementing departmental protocols
- Support and coordinate with seniors in the department
Responsibilities:
- Develop the department overall and its subspecialties
- Contribute to academic activities related to the department
- Guide and educate paramedical staff in protocol implementation
- Ensure safe patient care within the hospital
- Maintain accurate, legible, and detailed documentation of patient data, discussions, and advice
- Implement departmental goals and objectives effectively
- Conduct classes for clinical and non-clinical staff on Basic Emergency procedures
- Coordinate with colleagues from other clinical departments for smooth patient management
- Conduct daily ICU rounds
- Assist in clinical audits and strive to improve clinical functions
