Job Description:

At the corporate headquarters in Rockville, MD, we are seeking a motivated, self-driven and detail-oriented HR Specialist. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of HR experience and a passion for supporting employees and enhancing workplace culture. As an HR Specialist, you will play a key role in various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, and HR administration.

Tasks:

  • Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews.
  • Support employee onboarding and orientation programs.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy in HR systems.
  • Assist with employee relations issues and provide support to employees and managers.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate training and development programs.
  • Assist with benefits administration and payroll processing.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources management
  • 2 years of experience in an HR role
  • Strong understanding of HR principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to form relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite
