ResponsibilitiesEveryone is trying to "harness the cloud," but not everyone knows how. As a cloud computing application architect you will design a cloud‑based technical architecture that meets client needs and leverages cloud capabilities. You will develop cloud‑based solutions for some of the Intelligence Community’s toughest problems, guiding our government clients through strategy, design, and migration while ensuring standards are met throughout the process.
You will recommend tools and solutions based on your research of the current environment and knowledge of various on‑premise, cloud‑based, and hybrid resources. You will work with your team to help clients overcome their most difficult challenges in the cloud and grow your skills in automation, security, and AI while developing critical systems for the Intelligence Community.
You have:
- 2+ years of experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Experience with cloud infrastructure components such as compute, storage, networking, and security
- Experience with Infrastructure‑as‑Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Cloud Formation
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools
- Knowledge of cloud security principles, including identity management, encryption, and access control
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Power Shell
- Knowledge of database management systems
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- High school diploma or GED
- 5+ years of experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Bachelor’s degree
- Cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
Compensation & BenefitsOur compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $ per year in our lowest geographic market to $ per year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Depending on the position offered, sign‑on payments, relocation, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of fully paid medical, financial, and other benefits.
