MANTECH seeks a motivated, career- and customer-oriented Logi Cole Software/Data Developer to join our team in Fort Detrick, Maryland
. This is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote. Expanded telework options are available for exceptional candidates on a case-by-case basis.
We are seeking a motivated, mission-oriented Software/Data Developer to work with our MEDLOG IT PMO customer rick in Frederick, MD. This detail-oriented individual will be an imperative part of the Logi Cole Software Engineering team and is obsessed with accuracy, and able to accept critical feedback because they are always looking to produce the highest quality outcome.
Responsibilities- Participate in agile team, backlog grooming, story sizing sessions.
- Develop code in accordance with cybersecurity standards, design standards, 508 standards and style guides; any deviations from the standards require prior approval.
- Document designs, unit tests and code reviews.
- Participate in product evaluations.
- Assist in data migration development and data migration automated validation development.
- Plan, develop and implement improvements, new features and changes to existing SQL and No
SQL databases.
- A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science from a nationally accredited institution. If the candidate does not have the required degree, 6 years’ experience in a related field in addition to one of the following current certifications are required:
Cloud+, GICSP, SSCP, Security+, GSEC, FITSP-O, GFACT, CASP+, CCNP Security, or CCSP - At least 4 years of experience with Full Stack Development, implementing and consuming RESTful APIs and at least 2 years experience working on an Agile team and following Agile processes SCRUM and/or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
- Solid Java 11+ skills and experience with EAP’s (JBoss/Wildfly) and/or Spring Boot
- Experience in SQL that includes modifying database data/objects, analyzing relationships, validating data types and data reconciliation in a No
SQL database. - Experience developing python scripts used to access, query, and modify data in SQL (e.g. Postgre
SQL) and No
SQL databases (e.g., Mongo
DB). - Experience using ETL/streaming framework tools (e.g. Apache NiFi) and principals (e.g. full and CDC data load techniques).
- Experience with enterprise-level application development, containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, etc., and leveraging AI tools for code generation, data analysis, or code reviews
- Experience or certifications with cloud hosting solutions, particularly AWS
- Understands Bash or Power Shell
- Python 3+ experience and Microservice architecture / development experience
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and willing and able to obtain a Public Trust suitability and undergo a Tier 3 Investigation for DoD Common Access Card (CAC) eligibility only
- The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations; must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. The person in this position will need to be able to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
The projected compensation range for this position is $-$. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
