Overview
Adventure Technology Service sis a small IT contractor headquartered in Columbia, MD that provides high level solutions to Federal Government customers and are always looking for high quality professionals to join our team.
Requirements- Required Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph
- Salary Range: $135k-150k annually
Location: Annapolis Junction
Role/Responsibilities- Performs network services from network design through implementation, maintenance, and upgrading of existing networks.
- Analyzes design, specifications, and related documents.
- Performs general LAN/CAN/WAN administration.
- Schedules conversions and cutovers.
- Coordinates with all responsible users and sites to resolve network or system incidents.
- Translates business requirements into telecommunications (e.g., LAN, CAN, WAN, Voice and Video) requirements, designs and orders.
- Performs engineering analysis of telecommunications alternatives in support of strategic modernization efforts and telecommunications enhancement design for medium and large-scale telecommunication infrastructures.
- Assists telecommunications end users, telecommunications operations personnel, and telecommunications strategic program management with network interfaces.
- Eight years demonstrable experience (with degree, or 10 without) in network engineering (LAN), architecture, monitoring, security, and protection.
- Must have datacenter network design and architecture experience to include installation and configuration of Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and IPSEC virtual private networks.
- IAT Level 2 Certification Required
40 hours is the standard workweek. Some programs may allow additional hours to be worked as needed. A limited number of programs have on-call requirements where compensation is provided for being engaged to wait. In all circumstances, technical employees will be paid for all time worked.
Bonus Statement: All billable employees are eligible to earn quarterly bonuses that are based on the number of hours worked for that period. This hourly requirement is roughly 92% of hours available to bill in a given quarter. Quarterly Hours Bonuses are paid out on the same payroll as the time worked in that prior quarter (typically 21 days after the quarter ends.)
