DescriptionCaptivation Software is looking for a mid‑level systems engineer who will be responsible for assisting with daily tasks.
Security Clearance- Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph; all candidates must be a U.S. citizen.
- Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
- Seven (7) years of experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
- Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
- Experience with standard development process, issue tracking, and documentation tools (Jira, Confluence, Gitlab).
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and systems engineering processes, requirements management and prioritization.
- Experience with implementing Agile processes in Jira using Boards, Dashboards, and Plans.
- Experience with managing technical engineering documentation: design documents, system and dataflow diagrams, requirements, test procedures, etc.
- Experience with security and compliance certification process and required artifacts.
- Experience with container orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).
- Experience with systems monitoring and sustainment processes.
- AWS cloud services experience.
- Language analysis / linguist mission experience.
- Experience with 508 accessibility compliance.
- Annual Salary: $130,000 - $270,000 (Depends on the Years of Experience).
- Up to 20% 401(k) contribution (No Matching Required and Vested from Day
1). - Above Market Hourly Rates.
- $3,600 HSA Contribution.
- 6 Weeks Paid Time Off.
