Computer Systems Analyst; Senior

Interclypse is supporting several Maryland state agencies in modernizing critical systems. This role offers you the chance to contribute to the long-term health of the state while growing within Interclypse’s culture.

All positions are required to be onsite at various locations in Maryland.

• Provide technical and administrative direction for personnel performing software development tasks; review work products for correctness, adherence to design concept and user standards, and progress against schedules.
• Coordinate with Program Manager to ensure problem solutions and user satisfaction.
• Recommend and obtain approval for major systems installations.
• Prepare milestone status reports and deliver presentations on system concepts to colleagues, subordinates and end‑user representatives.
• Provide daily supervision and direction to support staff.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, business, or a related discipline. Master’s degree preferred.
• Eight (8) years of computer experience working independently or under general direction on complex application problems involving all phases of systems analysis.
• Five (5) years of experience in analysis and design of business applications for complex large-scale or mid-tier computer systems, or LAN-based systems; includes experience in DBMS and use of programming languages, and capability to formulate specifications for programmers to use in coding, testing, and debugging.
