Qualifications

• Must have TS/SCI clearance with active polygraph
• Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline; four years of additional database experience can be used in lieu of a degree
• At least ten years of experience as an Oracle Database Administrator
• Experience administering and engineering solutions with Oracle’s database (10 – current); extensive experience with database design and modeling; and the collection and interpretation of customer requirements relevant to database migration, troubleshooting, performance observation and tuning
• Significant experience with the production and deployment of RAC, RMAN backup & recovery
• Experience with Oracle Exadata, DB security, Data Guard and/or DB Vault, Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control, label security, and data migration

• Provide technology and industry leadership on large and/or more complex IT engagements
• Lead enterprise-wide solution engagements for high quality, integrated solutions within constraints of time and budget
• Develop an integrated and robust solution based on customer needs combining GOTS, COTS, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and third‑party components
• Provide subject matter expertise to assist customers through difficult business decisions
• Design, configure and implement all aspects of the full stack architecture delivering innovative solutions by combining Oracle best practices, knowledge in IT product offerings, and business acumen
• Recommend enhancements to meet complex customer needs

$125,000 - $225,000 a year. The pay range for this job, with multi‑levels, is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.

• Supporting DB design, development, implementation, information storage & retrieval, data flow, and analysis activities
• Supporting analysis & evaluation of system improvements, optimization, development, and/or maintenance efforts
• Supporting the development of long‑term and short‑term requirements for database administration and design
• Assisting in developing databases, database parser software, and database loading software
• Translating requirements and data into usable database schemas by creating or recreating ad‑hoc queries, scripts and macros, making updates to existing queries, and creating new queries to manipulate data into a master file
• Assisting in the development of DB structures that fit into the overall architecture of the system under development
• Developing requirement recommendations from a project's inception to its conclusion for a particular business and IT subject matter area (i.e., simple to complex systems)
• Developing database structures that fit into the overall architecture of the system under development
