Cyber IT Specialist, 3rd Shift; CSTS​/Interim Secret

Role Overview

Peraton is looking for a Cyber IT Specialist, 3rd Shift (CSTS) to become part of our Federal Strategic Cyber Group. The role is responsible for ensuring seamless operations and continuity, monitoring personnel activity, and performing initial triage, troubleshooting, and resolution of incidents and service requests.

• Monitor Splunk dashboards, Solar Winds, and other enterprise tools.
• Create and update Service Now tickets.
• Perform initial triage, troubleshooting, and resolution of incidents and service requests.
• Document troubleshooting steps and actions taken.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in IT operations, network operations, or cybersecurity support role, and possess one of the following professional certifications: CISSP-ISSAP; CISSP-ISSEP; CISSP;
Security+ CE;
CySA+; PPDA;
Agile IC; SNOW App Dev.

• Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience.
• Demonstrated 3+ years of experience in IT operations, network operations, or cybersecurity support role.
• CISSP-ISSAP; CISSP-ISSEP; CISSP;
  Security+ CE;
  CySA+; PPDA;
  Agile IC; SNOW App Dev certification.
• Experience with Service Now or similar ITSM tools for incident and request management.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Splunk, Solar Winds, or similar platforms.
• U.S. Citizenship.
• Ability to obtain an interim Secret security clearance before start date.
• Ability to obtain a final Top Secret security clearance.

• Target Salary Range: $80,000 - $128,000.
