RESPONSIBILITIES
The Senior IT Subject Matter Expert is expected to be able to accomplish the following:
- Works together with the customer to build a technology partnership, to ensure that offered technical solutions support the client’s strategic, long-term plans and vision.
- Takes ownership of the IT/network strategy and solution delivered by the organization at an account level.
- Develops and delivers presentations on technical solutions to client and technical team, as well as captures and communicates client-specific best practices and lessons‑learned using knowledge management tools and professional relationships.
- Leads other subject matter experts of the IT technology team for specific customers, evaluates design and architecture issues, increases integration of services delivered, and researches current market technologies to design cost‑effective solutions that meet current and foreseeable customer requirements.
- Has broad technical expertise across multi‑platforms and multi‑vendor operating environments, including data centers and distributed computing environments.
- Recognized as an industry and in‑house expert.
- Provides in‑house expertise to other practice areas of the organization.
- Represents the organization at industry conferences, presents technical white papers.
- Employees assigned to this job are expert‑level individual contributors, with leadership responsibilities for others’ work.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Active TS/SCI + CI Poly clearance
- BS, 18+ years of relevant experience; MS, 16+ years;
PhD, 12+ years
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- One certification meeting IAM Level III (CISSP, CISM, GSLC, CCISO)
- TOGAF Certified (Level

The Senior IT Subject Matter Expert acts at the highest level as the true end‑to‑end technology interlock between the client and the organization on the largest, most complex projects.
