MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACTAs a Technical Requirements Systems Engineer, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of our customer. You will play a crucial role in overseeing the planning, design, and implementation of a mission‑critical system.
- Lead/Manage/Support Product Owner and stakeholders to perform workflow/business process engineering, functional requirements gathering, and technical requirements definition
- Collaborate with Task Lead, Scrum Master, System Engineers, and Developers to facilitate sprint execution, functional testing, and sprint reviews/demos
- Drive the delivery of high‑quality solutions
- Utilize Agile software development methodologies and collaboration tools

- Education:
Bachelor of Science - Experience:
10+ years of related experience - Technical skills:
- Familiarity with software development using Java or JavaScript frameworks, RESTful microservices, and Cloud‑based architecture and deployment (Amazon Web Services)
- Proven experience in working collaboratively to elicit and document functional and technical requirements
- Acting as an expert liaison between customers and the development team, to include managing customer expectations
- Comprehending and articulating intricate technical details to various audiences
- Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies and collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Desired experience includes:
- Coordinating the design and development of AI‑driven solutions from conception to deployment, ensuring seamless integration with the existing software architecture
- Serving as a key technical liaison, collaborating with cross‑functional teams, including system engineers, software developers, and domain experts
- Effectively present and articulate recommended AI approaches, discussing the tradeoffs and implications of different implementations with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
- Staying current with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning, continuously seeking opportunities to apply new technologies and methodologies to improve existing systems and solve complex problems
- Security clearance level: TS/SCI w/ Poly
- US citizenship required
