Delinea Systems Engineer

NOTE – Our positions require a Top Secret clearance, as well as the favorable completion of a polygraph. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor an employment Visa.

Lead the planning, deployment, and documentation of Delinea (Centrify) privileged access and secrets management solutions across enterprise Linux environments. In this role, you will translate security and operational requirements into practical system designs, deployment strategies, and sustainment documentation. You will work at the intersection of Linux engineering, identity management, automation, and cybersecurity to strengthen access controls and support long‑term mission success.

• Experience using the Linux CLI and Linux Suite of Tools
• Experience developing scripts using Bash/Python to automate manual processes
• Experience performing basic System Administration including installation, configuration, and support of COTS/GOTS/FOSS software in a large‑scale Linux environment
• Strong Linux systems engineering background (e.g., RHEL, Rocky, CentOS, Ubuntu)
• Hands‑on experience planning or deploying at least one Delinea product (Secret Server, Privilege Manager, Dev Ops Secrets Vault, or related tools)
• Demonstrated ability to produce clear, accurate documentation for architecture, configuration, and operational processes
• Familiar with identity and access management concepts, PAM solutions, least‑privilege principles, and secure configuration guidelines
• Familiar with integrating Linux systems with authentication and directory services (LDAP, Active Directory, FreeIPA)
• Strong problem‑solving skills related to enterprise systems, authentication pipelines, and service‑level troubleshooting
• Experience with IaC (Infrastructure as Code) principles and automation tools such as Ansible and Salt Stack
• Familiar with API‑driven integrations and secrets management in CI/CD workflows
• Understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker, Podman, and associated secret‑handling patterns

• Experience with the Atlassian Suite of Tools such as Jira and Confluence
• Experience in cybersecurity engineering roles or working within compliance‑driven environments (STIGs, NIST, ISO, etc.)
