Overview
The Systems Administrator will provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems. Responsibilities include managing IT system infrastructure, day‑to‑day operations, monitoring and problem resolution, and configuring UNIX and Windows operating systems.
Responsibilities- Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems.
- Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution.
- Manage daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems.
- Assist users in accessing and using IT systems.
- Monitor and resolve problems for client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, and other equipment.
- Communicate status to agency management and internal customers.
- Optimize system operations, perform capacity analysis and planning.
- Provide in‑depth troubleshooting and detailed analysis of escalated tickets.
- Support the dispatch system and remain involved in resolution of hardware problems.
- Configure and manage UNIX and Windows (or other applicable) operating systems, install/load OS software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity and configure network components.
- Support design of systems, mission architecture, and associated hardware.
- Analyze and resolve complex problems involving server hardware, applications, and software integration.
- Fifteen (15) years of experience as a Systems Administrator on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university (or five (5) years of additional SA experience may substitute).
- DoD 8570 compliance with Information Assurance Technical (IAT), Level I.
Qualified applicants must possess an active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
CompensationSalary range: $122,000 – $253,000, commensurate with qualifications, experience, and expertise.
