We are looking for a Custodian to join our brand-new Hagerstown, MD Distribution Center. This role reports to the Facilities and/or Assistant Facilities Manager and works closely with the Operations Team to respond quickly to cleaning needs, spills, and break room or restroom maintenance.

Starting Wage: $20.00/hour

• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to ensure cleanliness throughout the warehouse.
• Clean restrooms, break rooms, and office areas regularly.
• Wipe down surfaces and equipment to maintain a dust‑free environment.
• Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables according to local protocols and expectations.
• Maintain waste bins and recycling receptacles, ensuring timely removal and replacement.
• Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Report any safety hazards, damaged equipment, or maintenance requests to leadership.
• Monitor and replenish inventory levels of cleaning supplies.
• Organize and store cleaning equipment and materials in designated areas.
• Assist with setup and cleanup for warehouse events or meetings.
• Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks as needed.
• Meet all expected performance standards regarding efficiency, accuracy, and quality of work.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following all safety guidelines and reporting any hazards to the appropriate leadership.
• Work closely with team members and leadership to meet daily, weekly, and monthly departmental goals.
• Abide by all company and warehouse policies.
• Flex into other positions and departments and undertake additional duties as necessary to support the overall operation.

• Work is performed while standing and/or walking, up to and including 12 hours/day.
• Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
• Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
• Requires regular bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
• Requires the ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 75lbs.

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a distribution environment preferred but not required.

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
