Pay
: $18.45/hr.

- $22.80/hr. (+$1.00 Night Shift Differential)

Job Responsibilities
:

  • Equipment Operation:
    Safely operate forklifts, electric pallet jacks, chop saws, drills, metal/plastic bending tools, plastic strapping/wrapper machines, and skid flipping machinery.
  • Logistics & Shipping:
    Use Bills of Lading (BOL) to pick and sort products for shipment; accurately weigh jobs before shipping and complete all required job tickets.
  • Loading & Unloading:
    Move product on and off trucks using pallet jacks and forklifts; manually stock dollies of product onto pallets.
  • Inventory & Maintenance:
    Utilize internal computer systems; repair broken/damaged pallets and sort them for reuse.
  • Quality & Safety:
    Regularly check product quality, adhere to all safety policies, and perform other duties as assigned.

What You Bring
:

  • Experience:

    6+ months of experience operating an electric pallet jack and forklift is required.
  • Physical Stamina:
    Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk for a 12-hour shift, and repetitively get up and down from the floor.
  • Skills:

    Basic computer skills, the ability to operate hand/power tools, and the ability to read a ruler and understand written instructions.
  • Traits:
    High levels of attention to detail and a strong ability to work well within a team.
  • Environment:
    Comfortable working in a hot, humid, and/or dusty warehouse environment with exposure to controlled, non-toxic chemical vapors or mists.
  • Education:

    High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

Ability to stand and walk for 12-hour shifts; comfortably kneel, bend, and reach for extended periods.

  • Strength & Heights:
    Ability to safely lift and carry up to 60 lbs, climb ladders, and work comfortably at high elevations.
  • Environment:
    Adaptable to working in varying plant conditions, which may include potential exposure to controlled, non-toxic chemical mists or vapors typical of a manufacturing facility.
