Forklift Operators
CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking Forklift Operators in the Hagerstown, MD area.
Responsibilities:
- Move materials on wheeled carts weighing up to 500 pounds.
- Lift objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights.
- Bend, stoop, squat, twist, push, and pull as required.
- Stand, sit, or walk for long periods of time.
- Tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments.
- Operate powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers to push, pull, lift, stack, or move products, equipment, and materials.
- Use a handheld scanner with a high degree of accuracy.
- Load and unload trailers as required.
- Adhere to the GXO 7S program and maintain a clean environment at all times.
- Demonstrate a commitment to process excellence.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the company quality policy.
- Perform inbound receiving processes.
Desired Background/
Skills:
- Ability to operate forklifts including reach truck, turret truck, order picker, or cherry picker.
- Experience with Crown or Raymond equipment preferred.
- One year of warehouse experience.
- Trained and certified in the safe operation of powered industrial lift trucks.
- Must be open to working overtime as needed.
Other Information:
- 1st Shift 6am-2:30pm
- 2nd shift 3pm-11:30pm – Hagerstown, MD
- 2nd shift must attend orientation on 1st shift
