Production Operator

Job Summary

We are currently seeking Production Operators to join our team at the Hagerstown plant. Responsibilities include operating the line, ensuring product quality, resolving stoppages, and preparing finished goods for shipment.

Compensation: $25.06/hr; moves to $26.87/hr after training.

• Operating manufacturing equipment in accordance with standard work instructions.
• Adhering to safety policies, programs, and procedures.
• Inspecting raw materials and finished products per quality specifications.
• Conducting quality checks at regular intervals.
• Working closely with the production team to meet goals and objectives.
• Operating counterbalance, propane‑powered forklift.
• Entering waste and downtime data into the system.
• Performing additional duties as assigned by supervisory staff.

Required:

• Ability to work 10‑ or 12‑hour rotating shifts (days/nights) including some future weekends.
• Comfortable working in a dusty environment.
• Manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Fluent in verbal and written English.
• Ability to follow directions and specific instructions.
• Good communication skills.
• Capability to safely lift up to 50 pounds on a routine basis.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods.
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
• Ability to walk and/or stand 90% of the shift.

Preferred:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in heavy‑industrial manufacturing or construction.
• Minimum 1 year of proven forklift operating experience.
