Kitchen Associate
The Kitchen Associate is a key member of our cannabis-infused product production team. This role is responsible for preparing, dosing, dispensing, bottling, packaging, and quality control for a variety of edible and topical cannabis products.
Responsibilities- Operating machinery including candy packaging, candy depositor, and capsule bottler machine.
- Prepping ingredients required for topical and edible products.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Cleaning, organizing, and quality control.
- Dispensing topicals into appropriate containers.
- Dispensing edibles using semi-automatic dispenser.
- Counting, topping, sanding, or otherwise further processing edible products.
- Hand packaging, sealing, and labeling of infused products.
- Maintaining food safety standards.
- Performing inventory counts.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School degree/GED preferred.
- For legal reasons, all employees must be at least 21 years of age.
- You will be asked to pass a Federal and State criminal history background check.
- Strong attention to detail — our patients rely on our accuracy.
- Desire and ability to work as a member of a team.
- Maintain open communication with the management team and other co-workers.
- Ability to work at a fast pace in a high production environment.
- Comply with all HR policies including confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements.
- Strong work ethic — be accountable and proactive.
- On-site 5 days a week.

- This role will require sitting, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the shift; there may be days where you stand or sit the entire day. Please be flexible as needs change.
- This role is similar to an assembly line, involving repetitive tasks throughout the day.
- You may be asked to carry loads up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- This position requires arm extending and repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers to cut and manipulate small consumable items.
- As this is a cannabis growing facility, there will be strong odors, bright lights, and various noises throughout the workday.
- Employees are required to wear scrubs, masks, gloves, and hairnets while working with the plants. DCM will provide scrubs, gloves, and hair nets to all employees.
