Kitchen Associate

The Kitchen Associate is a key member of our cannabis-infused product production team. This role is responsible for preparing, dosing, dispensing, bottling, packaging, and quality control for a variety of edible and topical cannabis products.

• Operating machinery including candy packaging, candy depositor, and capsule bottler machine.
• Prepping ingredients required for topical and edible products.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
• Cleaning, organizing, and quality control.
• Dispensing topicals into appropriate containers.
• Dispensing edibles using semi-automatic dispenser.
• Counting, topping, sanding, or otherwise further processing edible products.
• Hand packaging, sealing, and labeling of infused products.
• Maintaining food safety standards.
• Performing inventory counts.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High School degree/GED preferred.
• For legal reasons, all employees must be at least 21 years of age.
• You will be asked to pass a Federal and State criminal history background check.

• Maintain open communication with the management team and other co-workers.
• Ability to work at a fast pace in a high production environment.
• Comply with all HR policies including confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements.

• On-site 5 days a week.

• This role will require sitting, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the shift; there may be days where you stand or sit the entire day. Please be flexible as needs change.
• This role is similar to an assembly line, involving repetitive tasks throughout the day.
• You may be asked to carry loads up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
• This position requires arm extending and repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers to cut and manipulate small consumable items.
• As this is a cannabis growing facility, there will be strong odors, bright lights, and various noises throughout the workday.
• Employees are required to wear scrubs, masks, gloves, and hairnets while working with the plants. DCM will provide scrubs, gloves, and hair nets to all employees.
