About the Position
Job Opportunity – Level II Nursery RN – Maryland

Schedule:
Night shift, 36 guaranteed hours per week, every other weekend required
Highlights:
Care for neonates 29-34 weeks in a Level II NICU setting
1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio with a daily census of 3-4 patients in a 22-bed unit
12-hour orientation provided with Epic EMR charting system
Float to well baby unit as needed in rotation with facility staff
Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, and social services
Hands-on experience with specialty procedures including UAC/UVC line management, bubble CPAP, and neonatal abstinence syndrome care
Requirements:
Active RN license (pending license accepted)
Minimum 1 year of NICU Level II experience required
Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
Current BLS and NRP certifications required
Epic EMR experience required
Experience with 1:4 patient ratios
COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required with no exemptions
Skills required:
care of neonates 29-34 weeks, breastfeeding support, various feeding methods, central line care, UAC/UVC management, IV vasopressors, bubble CPAP, and oxygen delivery systems
