Up to $15,000 Sign on Bonus! 3 West is a specialized inpatient unit providing comprehensive care for patients ranging from adolescents to geriatrics. Our patients often require spinal surgery, orthopedic surgery, care for traumatic orthopedic injuries, or elective total joint replacements
. We pride ourselves on delivering high‑quality, compassionate care tailored to the unique needs of each patient. Shift: 48 hours biweekly, 6:30 PM–7:00 AM.
- Administering medications, IV therapy, and blood product infusions.
- Managing pain utilizing IV, oral, and patient‑controlled analgesia (PCA).
- Providing oxygen therapy, wound care, and surgical incision management.
- Setting up and monitoring traction and maintaining specialized orthopedic equipment.
- Collaborating with physicians, surgeons, therapists, and families to create individualized care plans.
- Supporting patient education to promote recovery, mobility, and long‑term health outcomes.

Education – ASN required. BSN preferred.
Experience – Minimum of one year of experience in a hospital setting required.
Licensure/Certification – Current license to practice as Registered Nurse in the State of Maryland, or if resident of a state that participates in the Nurse Multi‑State Compact agreement, holds a Registered Nurse License from that state designated as "Compact" or "Multi‑State Privilege" using primary source verification. Specialty certification recognized by the Magnet Recognition Program preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities – Ability to apply the standards of professional nursing practice with compassion and empathy. Basic computer skills required. Must possess a high level of organization and communication skills.
