Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Tele/IMC Float Pool Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shift: 3x12-Hour (18:30 - 07:00).

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Med/Surg Tele/IMC Float Pool. This position requires floating between Med/Surg and IMC units, and candidates must be comfortable handling patient ratios of 1:4 to 1:6. The ideal candidate will possess recent experience in an acute care hospital setting.

• Provide nursing care in the Med/Surg and IMC units.
• Manage patients with various critical conditions such as respiratory distress, septic shock, and myocardial infarction.
• Monitor telemetry and respond to changes in patient conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

• Minimum 2 years of recent Telemetry experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience on an IMC unit in a hospital setting.
• Clinical certifications: BLS and ACLS are required.
• Recent experience with the EPIC charting system is mandatory.
• Flu shot and 2-step PPD required with no exceptions.
