PICU RN – Registered Nurse Pediatrics – Pediatric Intensive Care Unit

Location:

Baltimore, MD – Sinai Hospital

Job Type: Part-time with weekend commitment – Day/Night rotation (7am-7:30pm/7pm-7:30am)

Position Summary

The Registered Nurse – Pediatrics / PICU delivers evidence-based, family-centered care to pediatric and adolescent patients requiring both medical and intensive care. This role is ideal for nurses passionate about pediatric and critical care, thriving in fast-paced settings, and wanting to make a meaningful difference in young patients’ lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to pediatric and critical-care patients.
  • Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other care team members to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Educate and support patients’ families throughout hospitalization and discharge.
Qualifications
  • Education:

    Associate’s Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred.
  • Experience:

    Minimum 1 year of Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) experience.
  • Licensure:
    Current Maryland Registered Nurse License.
  • Certifications:

    BLS – American Heart Association required; PALS required within 6 months of hire;
    Oncology certification required within 1 year of hire.
