Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled ER RN for a 13‑week travel assignment in Baltimore, Maryland. One year of recent experience as an ER RN.

• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Physical abilities: remain stationary, move about, move equipment (50–100 lbs), push, pull, and bend.
• Technical/motor skills: grasp, perform fine manipulation, push/pull, and move during procedures or equipment use.
• Mental requirements: cope with frequent public contact while meeting deadlines under pressure; work under close supervision or independently as needed.
• Sensory: visual acuity and effective communication.

• Rapidly assess and triage patients upon arrival, prioritizing care based on severity.
• Explain emergency procedures and treatments to patients and families.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved protocols.
• Prepare equipment and aid physicians during emergency treatments and examinations.
• Monitor patient comfort and safety throughout the ED shift, responding to immediate needs.
• Observe and document patient conditions as required within scope of practice.
• Respond to life‑saving situations based on emergency nursing standards, policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Document nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic medical records.
• Initiate patient education plans according to individualized needs in the acute care setting.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams – physicians, specialists, paramedics, social workers, and other support staff.
• Adhere to hospital safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and regulatory standards.
