Job Summary

RN – Orthopedic | Neurologic | Trauma – Full Time, Night Shift
72 hrs. biweekly, 6:30 pm – 7:00 am
Up to $30,000 sign‑on bonus.

The 28‑bed 3 East unit is dedicated to providing exceptional care to trauma, neurosurgical, and orthopedic patients, including complex surgeries, spinal procedures, and post‑acute rehabilitation.

• Monitor and manage complex orthopedic, neuro, and trauma patients.
• Utilize specialized equipment for cardiac monitoring, oxygen therapy, and medication administration.
• Administer PCA/PCEA therapies and blood transfusions.
• Perform wound care, dressing changes, drain care, orthopedic traction, braces, and chest tube management.

• Education: ASN required; BSN preferred. Diploma RN graduates from an accredited nursing school may qualify for ASN waiver.
• Experience: Minimum one year in a hospital setting.
• Licensure/Certification: Current RN license in Maryland or a compact state with a “Compact” designation. Specialty certification recognized by the Magnet Recognition Program preferred.
• Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Ability to apply professional nursing standards with compassion and empathy. Basic computer skills and strong organizational and communication skills required.
