Registered Nurse - Med Surg/ Women and Pediatrics
Full Time – 72 hrs. Biweekly – 6:30 pm to 7:00 am
Up to $30,000 Sign on Bonus!

2 East is a fast‑paced, 26‑bed medical/surgical, women and pediatric unit providing comprehensive, high‑quality, evidence‑based care to a diverse patient population.

We care for adult patients with a wide range of medical conditions, including respiratory, gastrointestinal, cardiovascular, renal, and endocrine systems, as well as those undergoing surgical procedures, including both pre‑ and post‑operative care. The unit has telemetry capability and is recognized as a Center of Excellence for Bariatric Surgery.

Additionally, 8 of our beds are dedicated to pediatric care, providing specialized medical, surgical, and trauma services to children and adolescents.

Education – ASN required, BSN preferred.

Experience – Minimum one year of experience in a hospital setting required.

Licensure/Certification – Current license to practice as Registered Nurse in the State of Maryland, or a compact state license that is designated as "Compact" or "Multi‑State Privilege" with primary source verification. Specialty certification recognized by the Magnet Recognition Program preferred. See attached addendum for unit‑specific requirements.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities – Ability to apply the standards of professional nursing practice with compassion and empathy. Basic computer skills required. Must possess high level of organization and communication skills.
