Cumberland Valley Surgery Center is the longest-active multispecialty, same-day surgery center in the Hagerstown area. Advances in anesthesia and surgical techniques have promoted the rapid growth of surgical procedures that can be performed in an outpatient basis and have made surgery centers a safe, cost-effective, and convenient alternative to hospital care. CVSC is poised to answer this increasing demand as the number of procedures appropriate for the outpatient setting continues to grow.

General Ortho Endo Neuro  - 7 days - 8 or 10-hour shifts available
- No call
- No OT expected
- Lodging: $110/day
- Car rental: $250/week - # OR rooms: 3NO supervisionMDs doing their own cases

Charting system: iPro

• Pre-anesthesia assessment
• Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
• Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
• Performance of clinical intervention as needed

• Have graduated from an accredited program in nurse anesthesia education.
• Must be certified by the National Board of Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
• Shall be licensed as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist and possess a current, valid, unrestricted license in the state of Maryland.
• Have at least one full year (12 months) of experience as a CRNA.
• Possess BLS and ACLS certification.
