Nurse Practitioner - Neurosurgery

Job Description:

Meritus Health, an independent and nationally recognized hospital, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Neurosurgery Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our team. Responsibilities:

* Collaborate with neurosurgeons to provide comprehensive care to patients with neurological conditions.

* Conduct patient assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and perform follow-up care.

* Assist in surgeries and procedures, providing pre-operative and post-operative care.

* Manage inpatient and outpatient neurosurgical patients.

* Educate patients and their families about their conditions and treatment options.

* Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to ensure coordinated patient care.

* Contribute to the continuous improvement of neurosurgical services.

Requirements:

* Meet credentialing requirements for Maryland state licensure, clinical privileges, and medical staff membership.

* Hold a current certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) with a focus or experience in neurosurgery.

* Demonstrate excellent clinical, communication, and collaboration skills.

* Exhibit a commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.

* Ability to work effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
