Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse
Seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to provide compassionate, high-quality care to mothers and their infants during the childbirth process. This role involves rotating through various areas including labor, triage, and mother-baby postpartum care.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum stages to ensure safety and comfort.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and perform clinical tasks in accordance with hospital protocols.
- Record patient information accurately utilizing EPIC and other electronic health record systems.
- Float between units as required, maintaining clinical standards and providing support to staff.
- Ensure compliance with certifications, including NRP, AWHONN, FHM, and OB surgical recovery protocols.
Qualifications:
- Possess a valid RN license and current certification in NRP, AWHONN, and FHM.
- Have at least 2 years of experience in labor and delivery nursing.
- Demonstrate proficiency in EPIC electronic health record system.
- Be comfortable working night shifts (4×12 hours) and on-call rotations.
- Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to float to other units in accordance with hospital policies.
