Registered Nurse – ICU

ICU Registered Nurse Opportunity

Seeking a skilled ICU Registered Nurse to provide specialized patient care in a fast-paced critical care environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in managing critically ill patients and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans based on clinical assessments.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes in condition, including emergencies.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare team members to coordinate care.
• Document patient progress, treatments, and responses accurately in electronic health records.
• Adhere to infection control policies, safety standards, and compliance regulations.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in good standing with current state registration.
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience preferred, with strong clinical skills.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIH Stroke Certification preferred.
• Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work night shifts, including 4x12-hour shifts.
