Registered Nurse – IMC​/PCU​/Stepdown

Registered Nurse (RN) - Med/Surg Tele/IMC Float Pool

This RN position is for Med/Surg Tele/IMC in a float pool setting, requiring extensive EPIC experience and at least two years of hospital-based IMC and Tele experience. The role involves floating between units and managing patients with complex acute conditions.

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in Med/Surg Tele and IMC units.
• Float between units based on staffing needs, adhering to organizational policies.
• Monitor and respond to patient vital signs and clinical changes promptly.
• Administer medications and treatments following prescribed protocols.
• Document patient progress accurately in EPIC electronic health records.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.

• Hold an active RN license with relevant hospital experience.
• Possess at least 2 years of recent IMC and Med/Surg Tele experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency with EPIC electronic health records.
• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Be comfortable managing patients with acute respiratory distress, septic shock, heart failure, MI, stroke, trauma, or hypertensive crises.
• Be willing to work night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
