Role:
Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Qualifications Required
  • Master's degree or higher
  • 1+ years of experience in ANY of the following:
    • Occupational Health
    • Occupational Medicine
  • Valid Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)
  • Valid Controlled Dangerous Substances (CDS)
  • Valid American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA ACLS)
  • ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
    • Nurse Practitioner (NP) in Maryland (MD)
    • Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) in Maryland (MD)
    • Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) in Maryland (MD)
  • ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
    • American Red Cross Basic Life Support (ARC BLS)
    • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)
    • American Red Cross Advanced Life Support (ARC ALS)
Overview:

This contract role offers an opportunity to provide high-quality care as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant during evening shifts. You will perform exams, manage treatments, and collaborate with healthcare teams to support patient health. The position values occupational health experience and offers potential for a temp-to-perm transition.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelines.
  • Perform procedures such as injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management.
  • Develop patient care plans, record progress, and ensure continuity of care.
  • Educate patients on treatment plans, health maintenance, and development.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests to assess clinical conditions.
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive care.
  • Prescribe or recommend treatments, including medications and therapies.
  • Refer patients to specialists or physicians as needed.
  • Maintain patient health records ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation.
  • Educate and coach nursing staff on best practices.
Schedule and Shift Details:
  • Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM
