Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (LDRP)

Hagerstown, MD | Acute Care

Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (18:30–07:00)

• Rotate through all LDRP roles including Labor, Triage, and Postpartum/Mother-Baby care
• Manage 3–4 postpartum couplets or 1–2 laboring patients depending on assignment
• Provide OB surgical recovery care, including post-cesarean section recovery
• Participate in on-call hours as required by staffing needs, typically 16–20 hours per 6-week schedule
• Expect to work some holidays and weekends in accordance with facility scheduling requirements
• Float to other units in rotation with facility staff, consistent with clinical experience and Joint Commission standards

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery / LDRP experience
• EPIC EMR proficiency required
• Required certifications: NRP, AWHONN, and FHM
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; locals are not accepted
• Travelers must separate for a minimum of 90 days after 1 year before being eligible to return; former permanent employees must have been separated for a minimum of 1 year before returning as a traveler

• OB surgical recovery experience, including C-section recovery, is highly preferred
• Comfort and flexibility rotating between Labor, Triage, and Mother-Baby/Postpartum settings
• Experience completing compliance modules through Relias or Net Learning platforms

• Opportunity to work in a dynamic LDRP environment with diverse clinical exposure across Labor, Triage, and Postpartum care
• Flexible on-call structure with the option to substitute extra shifts in lieu of traditional call hours
