Travel RN - Telemetry - Intermediate Care

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Telemetry/Intermediate Care (IMC) position within the float pool, requiring recent Epic experience and prior IMC nursing background.

Requirements

• Active RN license (MD or Compact) required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of Telemetry experience required
• Minimum 2 years of prior IMC unit experience in a hospital setting required
• Recent Med/Surg Tele experience in a hospital setting required
• Recent Epic EMR experience required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Flu shot required
• 2-step PPD required

Responsibilities

• Med/Surg Tele/IMC float pool role, floating between MS and IMC units
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (18:30-7:00)
• Patient ratios of 1:4-1:6
• Cares for patients with acute respiratory distress, septic shock, hypertensive crisis, severe congestive heart failure, myocardial infarction, unstable angina, and trauma
• Float between Med/Surg and IMC units based on facility needs
• First-time travelers will not be considered
• Local candidates will not be considered
