Travel ER RN opportunity in Hagerstown, Maryland. This on-site assignment is based in Hagerstown, MD 21742, a welcoming community setting for travel healthcare professionals, and offers the chance to join a high-acuity, high-volume Level II Trauma Center providing fast-paced emergency nursing care to patients of all ages. This travel Registered Nurse role is ideal for experienced emergency department nurses who thrive in dynamic settings and want to make an immediate impact.

• Duration: 20 weeks
• Schedule: 4 x 12-hour night shifts
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,980 - $2,080
• Average Daily Volume: Approximately 220 patients per day
• Orientation: 16-20 hours

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of emergency department nursing experience
• At least 1 year of travel ED experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certification; NIHSS may be pending at submission
• Epic charting experience required
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-acuity emergency nursing environment
• Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and select holidays as needed
• Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and teamwork skills

• Provide direct nursing care to emergency department patients across all age groups, including pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Triage patients and rapidly prioritize care in a busy, high-volume emergency department
• Monitor and stabilize patients with a wide range of emergency and trauma-related conditions
  
  Support care for high-acuity cases including stroke, STEMI, trauma, respiratory distress, and dysrhythmias
• Perform and assist with IV starts, blood product administration, and central line care
• Manage ventilated patients, BiPAP/CPAP therapy, and procedural sedation monitoring
• Document accurately in Epic and collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Maintain a safe, efficient, and compassionate patient experience in a fast-moving emergency care setting
