Dining Room Host

This position is located in Hagerstown, Maryland.

The objective of the Dining Room Host role is more than just a job; it’s an opportunity to create memorable “winning hearts” moments for our guests by keeping our dining room welcoming, clean, and guest-ready at all times. While working directly with our Director of Operations, the Dining Room Host will gain valuable life experience that goes far beyond keeping our restaurant clean and welcoming.

They play a key part in ensuring every guest enjoys an exceptional dine-in experience and receives Chick-fil-A’s signature hospitality.

Job duties include but are not limited to the following

• Greet guests with a warm smile and genuine hospitality
• Maintain eye contact and communicate enthusiastically with guests
• Provide table touchpoints and offer assistance proactively
• Keep the dining room and restrooms clean, stocked, and guest-ready at all times
• Anticipate guest needs and make emotional connections
• Uphold and model the restaurant’s vision and values
• Work efficiently while maintaining thoroughness and attention to detail
• Support fellow team members and foster a positive team environment
• Communicate clearly and courteously with guests and team members
• Follow all Chick-fil-A rules, procedures, and dress code standards
• Perform other dining-room–related duties as assigned

• Consistent, reliable, and punctual
• Cheerful, positive, and guest-focused attitude
• Passion for serving and helping others
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask
• Works well independently and collaboratively
• Willing and able to work a flexible schedule
• Able to lift and carry 10–50 lbs regularly
• Comfortable being on your feet for extended periods
