Store Associate Seasonal

Position Summary

Seasonal Retail Store Associate position to support increased summer business and tourism through Labor Day. Works independently and with a team to positively impact customers in a leading retail setting. The role includes cashier duties, inventory management, opening and closing tasks, customer support, and occasional pharmacy assistance.

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating needs, demonstrating compassion, and resolving potential service issues.
• Focus on the customer with a warm greeting, eye contact, and assistance in locating items.
• Accurately perform cashier duties—handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions following policies.
• Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking vendors, updating pricing, and completing inventory tasks as directed.
• Support opening and closing store activities when needed.
• Provide customer support to all departments, including photo and beauty, ensuring they are stocked and operational.
• Assist pharmacy personnel when needed, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy for growth opportunities.
• Embrace and advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs that support customer health journeys.

• Minimum age 16.
• Ability to remain upright for sustained periods.
• Lift and exert up to 35 lbs occasionally, with frequent handling up to 10 lbs.
• Maintain close visual acuity for computer use, reading, and inspecting small details.

• Previous retail or customer service experience.

High School diploma or equivalent.

20 hours per week.

$15.00 - $19.00 per hour.
