What You’ll Do
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise, collaborating cross‑functionally and educating associates on tools, tasks, and resources.
- Prepare food according to item specifications, plan future and mass productions, accommodate seasonality, and adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold‑chain compliance, inventory management, and equipment sanitation.
- Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; use handheld technology for production decisions, ordering, club pickup orders, training, and product quality.
- Drive area performance by stocking and rotating merchandise, ensuring quality and date‑control standards, eliminating waste, and providing member service—acknowledging members, identifying needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, payment types, merchandise location, and resolving concerns.
- Act as a brand advocate, develop, influence, and inspire teamwork, and assist in training to remove roadblocks.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards, implementing action plans and applying them in business processes.
- Complete work assignments by prioritizing, collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners, communicating progress, and recommending improvement opportunities.

Live Better U is a company‑paid education benefit program for full‑time and part‑time associates at Walmart and Sam’s Club facilities. CompensationThe hourly wage range for this position is $18.00 to $26.00*.
The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if criteria are met.
Minimum QualificationsI acknowledge that the position for which I am applying requires me to successfully complete all job‑required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period if I receive the position.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Preferred Qualifications- Food Safety Certification.
