Position Summary
This position involves executing daily operational tasks at Sam’s Club, including managing inventory flow, operating forklifts, ensuring compliance with safety and health regulations, and providing customer service and support across multiple areas. The role requires coordination with managers, teammates, and suppliers to uphold merchandising standards and meet performance objectives while protecting a safe shopping environment.
Responsibilities• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks within company standards to move, place, and position merchandise pallets.
• Receive stocks, organize merchandise and supplies, and maintain inventory flows following policy.
• Provide member service, acknowledge members, guide them in self‑service technology and product selection, resolve concerns, and promote company products.
• Conduct safety sweeps, follow hazardous materials handling and steel standard guidelines, and report unsafe conditions.
• Maintain sales floor presentation by zoning, stocking, rotating merchandise, removing damaged items, and setting up displays.
• Process deferred or defective merchandise and monitor shrink, security, and safety risks.
• Assist with club pick‑up orders, audit accuracy, and ensure timely staging.
• Use inventory tools, track goods, maintain in‑stock levels, and control shrinkage.
• Proactively identify opportunities for improving customer service and technology use, and take corrective action.
• Foster respect, integrity, and excellence by embracing diversity, supporting teammates, and acting with ethical standards.
The hourly wage range for this position is $20.00 to $28.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
Additional compensation may be paid in premiums ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour, based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
