Security Officer -Distribution Site - Access Control

Allied Universal - Up to $17.46/hour -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.;
Screen employees, visitors, and contractors for authorized entry using established screening processes, including monitoring walk-through detection equipment, conducting visual inspections, and performing bag and package checks as permitted by site policy.;
Control access at designated entry points by checking identification, verifying visitor authorization, issuing badges as directed, and maintaining visitor, delivery, and/or contractor logs.;
Monitor screening and entry areas using direct observation and available systems, report suspicious activity, policy violations, and/or hazards, and help to deter unauthorized items from entering the facility.;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicate with site leadership and/or emergency services as directed, and complete required reports and documentation.
