As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol in Hagerstown, MD
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic manufacturing and food and beverage location. In this role, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication to employees, visitors, and vendors.

Job Schedule: Day Time Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sat 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Sun 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter locations, noting unusual activity and/or facility issues.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help support authorized access, visitor processing, and adherence to location policies within an industrial and food processing environment.
• Assist with incident reporting, shift activity logs, and communication with supervisors regarding security-related matters, operational disruptions, and/or maintenance concerns observed during patrols.

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
