As a Security Officer Patrol Ambassador in Hagerstown, MD
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail distribution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with a caring, agile, and reliable approach, working as part of a team that values innovation and integrity.

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and sharing information with site leadership and/or Allied Universal management as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including entrances, loading and receiving areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor the movement of visitors, vendors, and/or delivery personnel, verify authorized access, and report suspicious behavior, damaged equipment, and/or policy violations.
• Support loss prevention and operational goals by observing high-traffic and inventory-related areas, following post orders, and communicating clearly with employees, supervisors, and/or first responders when needed.

• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
